Attire: Business casual attire is requested for all in-house activities associated with The Summit, including the Gala Reception & Dinner. |

Credentials: All Delegates are issued a credential at The Summit’s Registration Desk at The Four Seasons Hotel. This credential provides Delegates with access to all of The Summit’s sessions, meals and transportation. For security purposes, credential must be worn and clearly displayed at all times while participating in Summit-related functions – including the Gala Dinner – or present in Summit-related facilities and vehicles. Conversely, it is advised that badge be removed when Delegates are not participating in Summit-related functions or present in Summit-related facilities or vehicles. |

Delegate Personal Information: Because of confidentiality and privacy concerns, The Summit is unable to share the personal information of The Summit’s Delegates. |

Mobile Telephones & Pagers: In order to provide a highly conductive environment, The Summit respectfully requests that Delegates – while present at General Session and Breakout Sessions – to switch their mobile telephones and pagers to the silent or vibrate mode. |

Smoking Area: Smoking is widely permitted throughout Shanghai, but smokers are urged to look for informational signs when in restaurants and public facilities. When at The Four Seasons Hotel Conference Centre, smoking is permitted in areas where ashtrays and cigarette receptacles are available. For everyone’s comfort, The Summit requests that all Delegates observe this guideline. |

| AMENITIES & SERVICES |

Airport Transfers: The Summit committee will provide ground transportation between The Four Seasons Hotel and Shanghai Hongqiao / Pudong Airport. If the Delegate’s airport transfer has not yet been arranged, or if changes need to be made to the Delegate’s arrangements, please inquire at The Summit’s Information Desk. When planning for departure, it is recommended to arrive at the airport no less than two and one-half hours in advance, due to standard check-in and security procedures at Shanghai Airport. |

Dietary Requests: If Delegate has any requirements on dietary, please notify on our event register website. All efforts are made to accommodate the following types of dietary requests: Vegetarian, Kosher. For other dietary requests, please also notify on the website. |

Internet Access: The Four Seasons Hotel provides high-speed wireless Internet access in meeting area and hotel lobby. |

Late Hotel Checkouts: The Summit Committee will charge for the hotel guest rooms from Apr 14-16. Room reservation after Apr 16 must be requested from the hotel’s front desk and charged by Delegate. Hotel checkout is at 12:00 at The Four Season. Late hotel checkouts may incur additional charges. |

Simultaneous Interpretation: While English & Mandarin is The Summit’s official language, The Summit is committed to ensuring a productive event for all Attendees by providing simultaneous interpretation during the General Session and Breakout Sessions. Simultaneous interpretation is available in the following languages: English, Mandarin. |

| While committed to the process of ensuring a safe, secure and productive event, The Summit requests that all Delegates, staff, and crew assist in this matter by providing their full cooperation in the following ways: |

Time Zone: Shanghai’s time zone is GMT (+8:00) hours. |

Climate: Shanghai's climate is defined as " subtropical maritime monsoon." Spring and autumn are the best seasons to be in Shanghai, particularly in the months of April, May, September and October, as the skies are clear and the weather is very comfortable. The average temperature throughout April is 18° Celsius. |

Electrical Voltage: Electrical voltage is 220 volts at 50Hz alternating current (AC). The Four Seasons Hotel provides adaptor in each guest room to meet the Delegate’s requests. The following are the most common plugs used with mobile equipment. |

Currency: The basic unit of Chinese currency is the Renminbi Yuan (CNY), which is equal to 10 chiao/jiao or 100 fen. Bills are available in denominations of CNY 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 and 1, 2, 5 chiao/jiao. Coins are available in amounts of CNY 1, 5, 1 chiao/jiao and 1, 2 and 5 fen. |

Credit Cards: Most major credit cards – including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Diners Club – are commonly accepted by larger, more established businesses, as well as international chains. Look for the signs displayed at entrances or near pay points. |

Banks & Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs): The majority of banks are typically open every day from 09:00 to 16:00. ATMs are widely available throughout Shanghai. |

Shopping: In general, malls are open from 09:00 to 21:00, Monday through Saturday, and local shops tend to be open from 09:00 to 18:00 Monday through Friday. |

Gratuities: Tipping is generally not an accepted custom, although hotels and restaurants typically include a service charge of 10 percent. However, tipping porters at high-end hotels has become common practice. |
